Either go to a traditional bank or to a direct lender such as Countrywide or Wachovia, dont go through a broker they make their money on the spread between what the lender charges them and what they charge you

    your local bank

Your local bank will be the best place to go. Mortgage companies and brokers charge extra fees. The exception to this is if you’re self-employed for less than 2 years. Then a bank won’t give you a mortgage.

cut to the chase –shop around the local banks in your backyard and i would advise you to ask them to figure both a 15 and 30 note — payment might be a little higher but you will be out of debt 180 payments quicker!!!
