   of course its more complex than the british system and obviously you need to sort out a visa

   France is expensive and the people there seem to turn their nose up when it comes to dealing with most non-french, so why would anyone move there for any reason? Move to Germany because the people there are less snobby and you’ll make more money from the extremely tourist friendly environment.

   Yes, you can, the same way a French National with French Passport can do. All you need is a passport (which you’ve got) to you get to France.

   The UK & France are both EU countries. Which means.
   1) An EU National queues in the same line at Immigration. Example French, British, German nationals all queue up at the same line at Gatwick. Whereas, those are Americans, Canadians ect. in another line.
   2) An EU national is guarenteed entry into another EU country. There’s no need for a visa (permission to enter a country). That’s why EU national travelling to another EU country doesn’t get their passport stamped (visa).
   3) An EU national can stay in any other EU country for an INDEFINITE PERIOD. No 2 explains that.
   4) An EU national can take up employment, residency, studies (paying the “home” student rate) in any other EU country. In accordance to their local laws. Nos 2 & 3.explains.

   Now you’ve got the lowdown. I strongly suggest you do enquire about FRENCH LAWS regarding property and business. That you seek legal advice from someone who is qualified in these areas. Also, check their healthcare system as the don’t an NHS.

   There is no restriction by residence on buying property in France. Equally EU residents have the right to work and start businesses in France.

   Best to check out , the French business creation agency. A French branch of a UK company has some tax exemptions.

   Yes. As an EU citizen, you can live and work in any other EU country without a visa etc.
